how does that work??? Wait... I don't care I don't have a headache!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I got a late start on the other house cause I decided to wait for my husband. He spent the whole time there working on electrical. I trimmed the bushes out front, washed windows, cleaned the kitchen sink, and then played "what lights turned on now" with my husband so he could figure out the electrical box.

That place is wired up weird! It's looking tons cleaner, and I don't think I'd mind spending the night there now! I havn't seen a roach since the plumming issues were taken care of, so they aparently where comming up from the sewer. EEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

tomarrow will be the Church's Annual Sunday School Picnic! I'm excited and hope the rain will be gone by then and the weather will warm up! I always have fun there. probably cause when I was little, there was just too much fun to be had there! Between the pool of pop, to the water fights, to the huge lines of red rover red rover send __________ right over, to the LOOOOONG line for food that always stands in the direct line of smoke from the grills, to the sunburn you start feeling halfway through the picnic.... oooh the fun!

I can't wait.

We will be going to the other house today cause the store room still needs to be drywalled and painted, the electrical still needs to be finished, and I didn't feel like mopping the laundry room floor and the water heater closet needs to be washed out... anything else? I don't know! Almost done done done!!!

My husband told me he is sleeping in today so we might get started at 2PM, but at least maybe he'll get up early enough to be on time for the picnic!

It's fun to look outside at the rain. I guess this is one of the few times I can actually enjoy it!
I have great pland to make up some Chickens in the Road cake mixes just cause it sounds like fun!

Excitment

I cleaned the other house's bathroom and I scrubbed and scrubbed it. It took a couple of hours and now it actually looks decent! The realtor is going to take pictures today and I wanted it to sparkle cause the kitchen and bathroom are what sell a home. I know that what is there is not worth anything, but I can at least make it clean and as welcoming as possible!

Both me and my husband were scraping off the old caulking from the moldy tub and floor. I still don't know how they managed to get caulking everywhere! all over the sides of the shower walls, about 1-2 inches smeared along each side of every crack they caulked including around the toilet and baseboards... lots of scraping...

 But the results are well worth the work! Now after it dries, either today or tomarrow, he'll caulk around the tub. thats it. the grout along the walls and toilet are perfectly fine and look brand new. No need for excess anymore and never needed to be done in the first place! :-)

So I'm excited. My house will now be next and I can live life again cause it's almost done!

I am hoping to go there today and trim the bushes and clean out the kitchen sink, mop the laundryroom and do any last minute final details I can find so that when my husband finishes work, he won't have much to do and it will be done faster. maybe he can work on my house on Saturday then RIGHT???

Arrgh

I had another nausious migraine lastnight and all day yesterday. How lucky I am! 2 in 1 week!

I'll be glad when the weather evens out to either hot or cold and no clouds come. I asked myself that why can't we have rain without clouds? I like rain, but don't care for the headaches the clouds bring.

My boss the chef told me I looked terrible last night and told me to go home early. I didn't care. I went to bed 8:30PM and woke up 6:57AM -No headache! I am scared to do anything cause I don't want it back. I folded and put away laundry and started to feel it come a little and stopped. How do you get anything done if your scared of headaches?

Cruiser is a terrible horrible no good very bad dog today. I cut a pinapple and an apple and toasted some bread and made a lunch for my man. I also set aside a plate of food for me to eat after he left- some pinapple, some apple and a ham bun. The entire time I was in the kitchen, Cruiser would eye my bun and ask me for it and I would say no. he waited till I helped my man bring all his treasures out to his truck to jump up and grab and scarf down my sandwich as quick as he could and then acted innocent and brought me into the kitchen and asked me for my bun! like he had no idea it wasn't there! I didn't know it wasn't there till I looked at the plate! OHHHHHHH that dog! He has the innocent look perfected and you feel you get nowhere when you tell him no and show him your plate! I could do nothing but try not to laugh. he is too spoiled I guess. He only does what he wants.

I am so excited for this weekened! 4 whole days of no work! I have big plans to do nothing! My husband has big plans to work on the other house to do the last few things. I get to clean the rest of it I guess... Yuck! My husband did tell me he quick wiped down the toilet though! So it shouldn't be too bad I hope!

My new schedual

I made a graph for my chores. I have tried making lists for each day or for the week all the chores that need to be done and I never finished them cause I got overwhelmed just looking at it. I tried making a calender with chores labeled out for each day and that idea failed also. The Flylady way seemed to make me overwhelmed also with her big list of chores to do with some stuff I thought were unneccesary as there are only 2 of us and we don't dirty things as fast as apparently flylady does. So that plan backfires almost everytime I try it. It also seems just the weeks I have no time to do Flylady cause either work or other things, she puts the most time consuming chores for that week and I am set for failure.

So I decided to make my own set of things- just the basics that will get done each day during the ten days I'm working so it's all stretched out and when my 4 day weekened comes, I won't have to clean so heavily and have no catchup weekened for housecleaning and can instead rest and relax.

And I put it into a graph

For some reason, only this makes sense to me. I don't feel overwhemed looking at it, and can easily see without too much clutter (writing) for each day what needs to be done. and if you don't think I'm cleaning everything properly- enough during the week, you don't need to come over then. It also is just so the basics get done. For example- I'll quickwipe the bathrooms down more often than that when I find extra time, just the deep cleaning will be once every other week. Everything else I'm sure people won't care too much and it's my house anyways so this is how I'm going to do it.

And I thought of it all by myself!

Efficient Me

Today I feel effecient and full of energy. I know that it's because I've started eating fruit and veggies lately. I went to Pro's on Wednesday and stocked up. For some reason I stopped eating fresh fruit and veggies.

The weather is beautiful! I have my doors and windows open!

I have scrubbed my bathroom till it shined and cleaned my kitchen and did the dishes. Then I pulled the last few weeds out of the front my husband missed,- we had a ton out there- he must have spent a lot of time out there pulling! and cut my cactus so it doesn't branch out in mid air like the vandilizer set it up to do. I then watered my front plants. I am very proud of myself cause I havn't done that much all at once to my house since I got my new position!

My fresh cut cactus trimmed. It was so hard for me to trim it. But I knew it had to be done.

 Look what I found! a new bud! It's near the very bottom so I'll have a 2 pronged cactus again for a while, but I know next year it will have a new 3rd branch- if it survives this brutal trimming I gave it! I'm so excited and have new hope for this cactus!

 Here are the trimmings. I'm debating if It's worth it to try grow them in case my cactus dies, or if they will just branch out ugly. I think I'll give them a week to dry out and plant them in pots just in case and then from these new ones, I'll make a cutting from a new branch to start a new nice plant just how I want it. Will take many years though!

I have finally devised a plan I think will work for me -a strange new way of shcedualing that finally clicks with me! a graph! I know I'm strange, but then I've never thought about things the same way most people do! This I understand and don't get confused or overwhelmed looking at!

Anyways, I gotta go cause I have to leave for work in 20 minutes!

My weird day

Today I got up about 6:45AM or so. That was weird cause lately I've been able to sleep in at least till 7:30 or 8.

7:20AM I got a call from work that someone didn't show up and they were 20 minutes late. so I decided I had to go in early. I took off my pjs and was getting ready to get dressed when they called back that they showed up. So I put my pjs back on and finished loading the dishwasher. That was weird.

My husband got up early. That was weird.

We decided to go out to eat for breakfast, went to the car, and noticed a fire department crises response car and a police car out front. Our neighbor told us the man across the street died in his sleep during the night. He was really sick. I'm happy he is no longer suffering. That was weird.

So we went out to eat. no waiting at the resturant and we got a seat right away. Every time we have driven by there, there's always been a crowd outside waiting to get in. That was weird.

We ate, and came home just in time to see the mortuary loading Mr. Expired into the back of an unmarked white van. Unmarked???? I guess they don't advertise. That was weird. Who took him?

I then recieved 2 phone calls about 1/2 an hour apart from 2 of my employees saying they each were sick and couldn't come in today. one with a "sore throat who couldn't swallow" but sounded instead like they had just woken up. The other very cheerfully said they had stopped somewhere to eat on the way home last night and it's now not agreeing with them- but was also the same person telling me last minute last week they couldn't work Sunday even though they were already schedualed and were hired to work Sundays. 2 in one day?? Now we were short on the floor today. That was weird. (I think they both were lying).

I went to work 10:30 and I struggled and ran around and sweated and stressed to do all the work the morning people decided not to do and ended up still plating up pies up until the very minute I was to be out in the dining room taking orders. Why didn't the servers have it done? they know what to do! That was weird.

We were short for lunch with me also having to take a section with no foodrunner. We were also very short for dinner.But I had absolutely no trouble getting the other employees to stay and help out for the dinner shift so I could still leave 5:30 to go to a reception for my brother in law and new sister in law who eloped.
I got out on time and everyone was OK when I left and in happy moods. THAT WAS REALLY WEIRD.

I went to the reception and had fun. I got to laugh at my cute little nephew eating (he eats so cute!) and see family and welcome my new sister in law to the family and congratulate my brother in law.

I had a small headache from all the stress caused by work, but it went away at the reception, so I think it was stress related. That was weird it went away and didn't get worse as usual! :-)

My day ended up being good after all. JUST EXTREMELY WEIRD. I hope I never have a day this weird again as long as I live! Everything somehow all worked out in the end! Just made me stress out about it in the process though!

I hate migraines!

If you've never had one, your way to lucky and don't even know how lucky you are!

Yesterday my little nephew turned 1- his golden birthday! He was adorable! I got him some goofy toys! I enjoyed his birthday and had fun celebrating with him! He seemed to enjoy every second of it!

all day yesterday I also had a headache. I could hardly eat anything for supper, and felt so horribly bad I couldn't celebrate his birthday with cake or anything, cause I felt nausious at the thought and the smell of it all. but I knew it would taste good. And it looked good too. But I couldn't eat.

After I got home, even the crisp clean sheets on my bed did little to make me feel better! I woke up at 2:30AM feeling a horrible sharp pain in my head. Not being able to fall back asleep, I got up, drank a little water, went to the bathroom, let the dog out, and tried to sleep again.
If anyone has had a migraine you know how this is. I had to get up fast with an urge to puke and did so in the toilet. Feeling so horrible all day I then realized why I felt so queasy! My body wouldn't digest anything cause it was under to much stress with pain and I actually threw up my lunch on further exploration. So the thought comes to my head that why didn't it make me throw up earlier? I ate lunch at 2:00 PM -12 1/2 hours later I threw it up. weird. Migraines mess with your body!

I felt so gross and queasy after so I drank some water brushed my teeth and tried to go back to sleep. less than a minute later, I had to run to the toilet and up came the water and the rest of lunch and all I'd eaten!

I lay there moaning cause my head only hurt worse and told my husband "III--II-I     W-W-W-ant TYLONAL!" and he goes we don't have tylonal? I said nope and he said why didn't you say so earlier?
He said he had some in his truck so I took some, and had to fight the urge not to throw up again so the tylonal could work and everytime I lay down I had the urge so I had to make myself sit up- ever try sit up when your body feels so bad and you start falling asleep in 2 seconds but the pounding won't let you? and you feel so queasy and gross and keep falling over? surprisingly, the tylonal started to work! usually it doesn't. It knocked me out! probably with shock it worked! I didn't get up till 8:40AM I still feel a little bit of headache, but it's not bad at all just a nuisance!

So that's how my day started!

If you've never had a migraine, count yourself one of the luckiest people on the planet.
I've come to realize I don't think I've ever had a true headache! They never feel any different, but the levels of pain are different with each one- they all feel like a migraine! I can't believe I got so lucky! Migraines only for me!

Enough! I have only 2 hours before I have to go to work again and I am hoping it will go away.
and I'm exhausted already!
