Grumble, Grump, Groan, Mumble. ( a G and M kinda day)

I've been having a pretty rough week. With hormones that is. I'll be seeing a doctor soon I hope. I got another migraine yesterday. My period was 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test- negative. I hate getting excited and then being dissapointed right after. I guess I'll never have a baby ever. I am hormonely sad today and crampy and grumpy. not a good combination. I also have work and still need to pack for camp.
my plant are in dire need of attention.
My living room is still plain and ugly.

Yes, I finally received word I'll be working in the kitchen. My husband told me he'd go with me so now I'll have some support there. I'm excited for something new, but not looking foward to it. I was told some of the ladies wouldn't be there so we're short already, and I am tired and hormonely imbalanced.

I have been having a stressful last 2 weeks at work so maybe thats the cause of all this. But I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! It seems all my hard work is paying off finally! The servers are finally doing their cleaning like they're supposed to, the new ones can finally take a section by themselves, We have plans to maybe hire some more, as we weed out the slackers. So far we're getting a good team. The problems of bringing in a ton of new people  all at once is no one knows how to work together and they have to work hard to get to know each other and have to learn the residents, and their job all at once. They also have problems learning the routine cause every where they turn, there's another new person doing it wrong. So after finally writing out all that is to be done and the correct way to do it, they are finally getting it. I'm not there 24/7 to supervise and answer questions. I'm glad I finally found a way to help them out when I'm not there.

I am thinking this is why I've been so exhausted lately. Every time I go to work, I feel like the guest services information desk and am bombarded with questions and stopped while taking orders to answer questions, and then have to think hard to remember the order I just took and what was I getting for the resident again? and what was that request from that table that I didn't write down? and then I turn around to get it and I am questioned again. It's been an endless cycle. I'm actually kinda looking foward to a weekened off. like in 2 1/2 weeks because camp will be so much like work! I've been to this camp many times to cook I used to sign up for it all the time so it seems every year people ask me how we've done this or that in the past and how much did you use??? I'll be forced to think again and my brain just needs a rest.

I'm just so glad my migraine went away during the night! I stopped at Fry's on the way home last night cause my husband forgot to get milk so I decided to buy some fruit also and ended up spending $22.94 The whole time I was checking out, the cashier was asking me all these questions about a company we were looking into joining a couple years ago only for her to say that this other company she was looking into also joining sounds like the same type of company and she's going to join neither and My head was pounding and I was trying not to throw up on her and ..... I got home, took tylonol, and went to bed.

My husband then asks me what did you spend $22.94 on? He looked up the bank account online. Thats when I realized huh? I thought about it and realized that in all her questioning, she forgot to do her job and ask me for my card. All the things I bought were on sale. It shouldn't have come anywhere near $20. For example, I paid $1.29 lb for navel oranges instead of the 3lbs for $0.99 sale price. and I paid per $1.29 lb for the mangos instead of 2 for a $1.  NOT SMART TO SHOP WITH A HEADACHE RIGHT? but I did my part correct- right? I just forgot about my card. ARGH!

heres my expensive $20 fruit- the bottom basket only. The lemons are from my tree (evidence- no stickers-).
Cruiser right now needs a tummy scratch.

this picture's from a few days ago. He's asking me if we're going inside, or if I'm just tricking him. I love it how he always has to be sure. He's so happy looking in this picture and I think I finally captured his asking eyes. The dog has many different looks. I just don't know if I'll ever be ably to capture them all- like his famous face when he tells us to go to bed with his lip caught on his teeth, or when he's hungry. but he's so expressive with his noises too. he "talks" to us with various grumbles and growls and whiny noises and yips and squeaks and a thousand different types of barks ALL IN THE SAME SENTENCE! Either he's smart, or brilliant. you can choose but I think this dog was born with a brain that works (unlike some other dogs I've seen).

It's spring so at camp if I get some time off, I'm going to go for a hike to take pictures of wildflowers.
Have a great day!

Waiting for a call

I called my aunt lastnight because I havn't heard from anyone about which camp I'm supposed to go to cook at. I couldn't get ahold of her so I left a message. If I don't receive back word, and no one calls me, does that mean I'm not needed? I still am awaiting confirmation.....    Hello? someone call me..... I havn't any idea who is in charge of all the planning....

I'm still kinda hoping they didn't put me on any camp because I forgot to sign up. But you'd think someone would call to make sure that all the people on their commitee would know about it to show up for it right????

I still am sleeping during the night and the bed is softening up. Cruiser's still alive and well, farting like usual (in other words, back to normal).

Not much else has happened here. I havn't written because I have nothing interesting to post about my life at the moment.

But wouldn't it be exciting if I didn't have to go to camp and could just stay at home and rest? I'm hoping so, but will go if I'm needed. But I definetly feel I'm not going to pack yet until I receive confirmation that I'm for sure on the camp commitee. (just hope I don't hear about it the day of). I would feel bad if no one calls me until after asking why I didn't go because I know when your on they need you but I guess if no one tells me I'm on, and when and where I'm supposed to be and go, I'll not have to worry cause I wouldn't have known then.

I just don't like this waiting part. and the not knowing. I'll be first to sign up for next year so I know for sure which camp or baking commitee I'm on for.

I would just walk around with a camara here just so I have some sort of pictures to post today, but my camara battery is dead and I don't feel like waiting for it to charge. So sorry! I'll charge it and then take pictures and post next time.

Hope you have a nice day!

Sleep

I have slept.

Let me tell you the mattress story:
Our old mattress was a double banana bed and our arms fell asleep all night and you couldn't sleep a wink and woke up more tired than when you went to bed. So we got a new mattress. It was wonderfully comfy. My husband couldn't sleep a wink on it even though I slept very well. After 6 days, my husband could stand no more. So back to the store- we picked out a new one and I couldn't sleep a wink on it cause it was nothing like the one we tried in the store. After a few days of seeing of it would soften, my husband called the company. They sent us a new one. It was wonderful just like the one in the store. I guess the 1st one we got was defective? But the new one they brought us had a crushed side and they would bring a new one tomarrow. I slept very well that night anyways. Then they brought the new mattress. That one was exact like the "defective" one we first had. So the next day, my husband requested the crushed mattress would be back and they said in a few days the side will pop back in. So I slept last night!

That means that we had a total of 4 different mattress' in our house in the last 2 weeks! One of them was here twice ( the one we kept.) Poor delivery guys- they were probably sick of us! I'm sure they have the map to our house memerized by now! Imagine- I changed the sheets many times in the last week. I am sick of remaking the bed. It doesn't just involve pulling the sheets up like every normal day, but putting a mattress pad, sheets, and blanket on every night!

I love my new bed and am accepting that the new mattress isn't exactly the perfect mattress we had the first time, but I can sleep well on it too and my husband can also.

So the end.

I am still eating Easter candy!

Nothing new has happened in life except I actually made a meal today I havn't made in a long while!

The dog is back to normal and still alive.
The weeds are drying out and turning brown.

I will write later when my life involves more interesting things!
Have a good night!

ZZzzZZZZZzzz?!!! Clomp clomp ZZZZZZZZzzzzZZ?!! Clomp.....

I am so tired and I have a headache. Cruiser kept me up a second night now asking to go out during the night many times to go diarea. I stressed the entire night thinking he's got a chicken bone lodged in his intestine....Upon further inspection this morning, he has been eating woodchips. ARRRRRGHHH! stupid dog likes being miserable and making me miserable in the process! I couldn't just stick him outside and go back to sleep cause everytime we've done that in the past he's barked at the stupidest things ALL night.

I so badly need to get out of here! I want to go to Disneyland and just see something new. I'm sick of this house and the tiring routine of working 10 days and getting 4 days off with having to be the only living thing completely in charge of maintaining this dump of a house and doing all the cooking and cleaning. I'm tired tired tired. and I can't get any sleep at all cause of the stupid rock hard mattress and the squirting dog.

I'm right back to where I started and actually have worse blacker bags under my eyes. and feel so miserable and I have work today and for the next 9 days also and I found out I have been placed on working the next church camp which will fall on my next 4 day OFF weekened! oh the luck! Will I sleep better there? But it's not Disneyland...... and I can't imagine resting well and only getting more tired and exhausted like everytime only this time I'll start out completely exhausted cause that's how my 10 working days always end. I usually look foward to this camp with excitement and anticipation..... and I actually dread having to go this time cause I'm exhausted. I'll be on my feet the entire time... hardly any sleep.... working hard to get the food all finished on time... having to make conversation and try make sense with what my tired mind is trying to say... at least I'll give everyone something to laugh at if I'm not a complete grouch!

I keep thinking I should just go lie down and try to sleep and then I don't even want to go back in that room cause the beds so hard and it's hard to fall asleep and I am worried the dog will only try to wake me as soon as my eyes actually fall asleep! Plus the added stress that if I close my eyes, will I not hear the alarm and sleep right through work?

This morning I finally decided enough is enough and at the 6:00 wakening by the squirting dog, I tapped my husband -your turn. It took some effort to finally get him out of bed- "he's your dog- I've been up all night with him..." he goes opens the door, and Cruiser's still trying to get me up I had to keep telling him go the doors open go potty go away go potty.................. and he finally went to the door and TURNED BACK AROUND AND TRIED FRANTICALLY TO GET ME UP cause I'm the only one who lets him out in the morning usually, and I felt so bad cause he tried to jump up and tell me and he hit his mouth on the platform board and he's already miserable and apparently he wants me and....so I rolled out of bed and stood by the door and my husband went back to sleep........ All that effort wasted. was it worth it? so I watched through blurry eyes as the dog did yet again another splattering squirt and squated around for a bit, then came in proud as can be.
HE'S SO SPOILED!

Only to find out it's because of woodchips.... HHHMMMPHHH!

will write more when I'm in a better mood and less tired.

Hope your day has cute cheeping chicks and bunnies and flowers unlike mine!
Goodnight.

Groan...

Thats me right now. I ate too much today. 1 slice pizza for breakfast, and some candy. Lunch included a full plate of a filet mignon, one bun, potato casserole, beans, veggies and dip, and a bowl of jello. I also drank a cup of punch with 7 up in it. Then I ate more candy, had white chocolate mouse with raspberries, and then more candy. On the way home, I thought I was hungry so we stopped at Eribertos mexican resturant and I got a plate of a cheese enchilada, a HUGE beef burrito, and some most delicious beans and rice. That rice was SOOOOOOOOOO good! I havn't had rice that good in a while! I could only eat the beans and rice, one bite of enchilada, and 3 bites of my burrito. about a 1/4th of the entire meal! I am stuffed.

POSITIVELY STUFFED.

I am so full, I'm afraid I have over-eaten. but my jello was good! after my failed mexican meal, I really had to fight the urge to eat some jello. I usually eat to much then force myself to eat something good after just cause it tastes good. I couldn't do it this time or I would've popped!

But MMMMMMM! I had such good food today!

Will write more tomarrow! I have tomarrow off! wish me luck on the hard slate bed tonight!
Goodnight!
Trisha
P.S. I'll be dreaming of rice and beans! MMMMMMM! oh! and that potato casserole! I had to fight the urge for seconds of that cause I was too full after lunch for more!

Here it is!

HAPPY EASTER!

This is my first jello salad EVER.
before whipped cream and marshmallows
The layers bottom to top: Strawberry jello, Strawberry jello with fresh chopped strawberries, raspberry jello, strawberry jello and cream, strawberry jello.
The final layer, marshmallows and whipped cream
next up: try figure out how to make it level for setting on a sloped fridge shelf for next time. I knew about the slope, but I chose to ignore it and just see how it turned out. I planned on turning the bowl with each new layer. Too much work aparently I couldn't see to well which side was thickest... oh well it'll still taste good!
poky topping texture
all of it. MMMM I can't wait to try it!!!! (should be good!)

HERE'S THE BED!!!!
the bed with 2 nightstands
Beautiful drawers under the bed and one nightstand
The ugly bugly headboard. but I decided to go with this bed cause it has all the features I was looking for and my husband likes the padded headboard "It's comfortable to lean up against for reading books." That sold me on it even though I don't like how it looks. Maybe we can stain it brown or black or something to make it look better...
This kept me up all night. Doesn't he look inocently cute? "Who me?????" He started puking literally right after I posted my blog last night about 5-6 times within a 1/2 hour. Chicken bones, grass, food, ?????, and ??????. Then he had to keep moving around during the night re-adjusting, and drinking water and made me take him out 2 times during the night. Diarea. I hope all is done now and he'll not eat an entire cooked chicken carcass again for as long as he lives...

needless to say, I'm tired for Easter. The mattress was so rock hard also and I had to keep turning over and over and over... So I hope it softens soon. But my arms didn't fall asleep! The one in the store was nice.

I'm waiting for my husband to get ready so we can go to his parents house for Easter.

Cruiser smells like puke even though he didn't get any on him. It must be his breath. Anyone want to brush his teeth? I don't. And we seriously just gave him a bath a few days ago! Oh well. at least he felt clean while he was miserable trying to digest undigestable things!

Well, I'm going to go get my day started and it's Easter! and I feel like eating really cheesy spicy mexican food! with beans and rice and... oh dear. If I eat that, no one will want me around them at the table.

So I'll just satisfy myself with pizza.
Happy Easter!

Bed

My bed has arrived and It is beautiful except the headboard. but oh well I have a bed. The dog is feeling better and acting more like himself, and I ate 2 bowls of icecream and a bowl of jello today and candy.
I went to work, and my bed delivery was late, I washed laundry. I made a beautiful layered jello salad for tomarrow. I ate pizza 3 times today breakfast, lunch, and supper.

Now you are updated on how my day went. I'll post some pictures tomarrow of my bed and jello. stay posted.

Happy early Easter!

Goodnight,
Trisha
